If you notice under users names on each post, there is a ranking. This is based 100% on post count, at least for now. We may explore other options in the future, such as a rep system.

Here is how the rankings break down by post count required:
0 - Freshman
1000 - Sophomore
2000 - Junior
3000 - Senior
5000 - All-ACC
10000 - All-American
100000 - Hall of Famer

We're open to suggestions on altering this, so if you have any, please post in this thread.

What about something like (just off the top of my head):

Here is how the rankings break down by post count required:
0 - Whatever I did, I did and, you know, whatever.
1000 - Dunking on Kenny George
2000 - Bloody Montross
3000 - 8 pts in 17 seconds
5000 - Marvin's '05 putback
10000 - Gio's punt return
100000 - Green's dunk on Paulus

10K-100K is quite a lot. How about Legend at 50K?

Ok, haven't revisited this in a while, but people have moved up the ranks. NDB is closing in on 100k posts.

Here is what we have as of right now:

0 - Freshman
1000 - Sophomore
2000 - Junior
3000 - Senior
5000 - All-ACC
10000 - All-American
25000 - Hall of Famer
50000 - Retired Jersey

Thoughts?

Jersey is retired before HOF, might want to swap.

Interesting discussion, because one does not necessarily mean the other has already occurred. We have Hall of Famers who do not have their jerseys retired (Bob McAdoo for example), but we also have players with jerseys retired who are not Hall of Famers (Hansbrough, Jamison)
