@DreadPirateRoberts this is still happening, like maybe half the time.
Embedded tweets screw it up because they load after the page loads, so it pushes things down.
Technically webm is a video format. I'll look into it

I think you add them to your enemy list or something. Not super intuitive

It’s even better on iOS.
Yeah, huge improvement in the mobile experience.
I haven’t had time to work on it recently, but if you want to try the HeelTalk 2.0 Theme currently in development, you can switch to it under your User Control Panel > Board Preferences > My Board Style. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and it’s a lot better. Still needs some fine tuning though be...

@poast I updated Tapatalk integration today. Can you let me know if things are working better?
Sorry, just seeing this reply for the first time. Now, I can’t access HT from Tapatalk
Sorry, there was another update. I just applied it and it looks like it's working properly now.

Interesting discussion, because one does not necessarily mean the other has already occurred. We have Hall of Famers who do not have their jerseys retired (Bob McAdoo for example), but we also have players with jerseys retired who are not Hall of Famers (Hansbrough, Jamison)
Even worse than before the update. All of the above issues, plus inability to click on links [emoji90][emoji90][emoji90] Tapatalk says it will be fixed in a coming update. Not sure when that will drop, but I'll apply it as soon as it does. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatalksupport/links-are-n...
It is a site-wide setting. It's currently set to 30 and I have not purposefully changed it. I can check to see if the default value changed during the update, but I don't believe it did. There is an extension that allows it to be set per-user, but it hasn't been updated for the latest version of PHP...
Hmm. Thanks for screenshot. I'll investigate

Why do so many pictures show up as those stupid smiley faces on Tapatalk?

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Not sure what you're referring to. Got an example I can look at?
Adding to my list to investigate ways to force Tapatalk to handle media and links better. I might be able to fork the extension that integrates the site with Tapatalk to have it render bbcodes for Tapatalk requests. We'll see. For now the mobile view of the website works pretty well though.
Haven't thought about this in a while, but just wanted to update that I've started working on it. Hope to roll out the dark theme sometime in the next couple weeks.
Ok, haven't revisited this in a while, but people have moved up the ranks. NDB is closing in on 100k posts.

Here is what we have as of right now:

0 - Freshman
1000 - Sophomore
2000 - Junior
3000 - Senior
5000 - All-ACC
10000 - All-American
25000 - Hall of Famer
50000 - Retired Jersey

Thoughts?
I don't think so. I see why you might want that, but usually people want to see the confirmation of their post showing up properly before going back to the forum.

I'll see if there is an extension that gives a per-user option for that.

need bigger inboxes and such

there's a limit, so when someone sends me a PM, is the oldest one in there getting auto deleted?
I've increased the limit to 500/folder. You can have 5 folders (inbox counts as one)
This is fixed now too
This is resolved now

who sends them?
They are automated by the system
This has been fixed now for new image posts.
This is taken care of with the new Recaptcha and StopForumSpam integration.
That's a personal setting. I have it configured for guests to use America/New York which accounts for DST.

You can change it by going to your profile, click the Board Preferences tab.

There choose UTC-4 from the first My Timezone dropdown, then choose America/New York from the second dropdown.

And the software is British English out of the box. I have installing the American English language pack on my to do list.
I'm a Navy guy myself.
Same here
Prince Ali wrote:This has been happening for some time now, if there is a post with pictures in it and I go to edit it, the pictures in that post disappear.
Yeah, it's because of the way it does the auto-embed. It won't strip if you use the bbcodes. I need to slightly adjust the way the auto-embed works to fix it.
Do you clear cookies on browser close? That will log you out for sure.

I'll try to replicate.
It's the way Tapatalk works vs how the automatic embeds work. Tapatalk only recognizes bbcodes, and has a very short list of sites for the media code (Dailymotion; Facebook; Liveleak; Metacafe; Vimeo; YouTube;). The automatic embeds work independent of those by design to make it easier to embed medi...
Arrow left of title takes you to first unread post.
Page links take you directly to that page.
Arrow and date of last post take you directly to the last post (which is on the last page)

Ok, should all be working now. Turns out I was using a much older version of the extension and hadn't updated it.

I tested Twitter and Youtube and they both worked nicely.
