The Heels are back on top. I was wondering how (if the Heels' defense is as bad as everyone says it is,) at the end of the season, nobody has a better record than they do? The Heels average 91.2 points a game. The rest of the top 5 teams average between 74 and 79 points a game. What does that translate into, around an extra 10 possessions a game for UNC opponents? These opponents are probably going to score on at least a couple of those possessions, so naturally they have more points than losing teams generally do. Then again, maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way and I am completely wrong. If their defense is terrible though, they must be doing something else right.
