Last year Hansbrough couldn't buy a foul at Duke. Will the officials call some fouls this year and will the officiating make a difference?

It’s Duke!
1-the refs are biased to begin with
2-the dookies will be flopping, crying, and whining
3-ratface will be screaming and cussing at the refs until they call everything on us

As long as they keep the dookies from throwing cheap fouls that injure our guys.

Well, everyone is complaining about Karl Hess. Here's some stats that may validate everyone's complaints:

statsheet.com/mcb/teams/north-carolina/referees

Karl Hess has officiated 9 UNC games- more than almost any two other referees COMBINED. He's called 5 games at the Dean Dome, and in those games, has called 7.1 FEWER fouls in favor of UNC than the season average would indicate- which is almost outside his standard deviation for fouls called in ANY game on the season. Further, his normal margin is home team -2, while at UNC, it's Home Team -7.

I'm not sure if it's already been posted, but this seems like a good time for a video of Scheyer walking during the VT game...
