I feel a little bad for the College of Charleston. After last game the Heels are going to step on the court with a vengeance and, lets be honest, Charleston isn't exactly a basketball powerhouse. Actually, I don't feel bad at all. I look forward to watching Charleston get crushed. Hopefully this will allow the team to reclaim their stride before they get back into ACC play.

I agree. I hope we slaughter them. Interesting though, CoC beat the gamecocks, who in turn beat Baylor, a ranked team. But CoC is coming off a loss to Davidson who had just lost their ranking. (As much as I dislike Curry, I hope they hand it to the dookies tonight.) Anyway, the point is that CoC is not a bad team, but I still expect us to be ruthless. I predict Tyler is going to put up 30+, they just don't have any big men that can challenge him.
Also, I think the game is at 9:00 on Foxsports Net. Here is a couple of game previews:

I love Roy's quotes about golf at the bottom of the tarheelblue.com preview.

By the way, I can truly tell I'm turning into an old man when I groan at the 9pm start time. If its a blowout, there's a good chance I'll be asleep by the end, laying on the couch with an empty Thomas Creek beer in my hand.

CofC isn't a bad team but they'll still lose by 20+. They may cover 26 but they won't by much. I was reading the preview of the game at Yahoo earlier and didn't realize that Charleston had won the last meeting between the two schools back in 2001.

I am an old man so I plan to doze off in the near future. Charleston may hang early but can't last. We should have beaten them. Ken or Nate, do either of you want my SC/Auburn tickets for Saturday before I give them to someone else. It is first SEC game.

Guess, I shouldn't have posted. CofC is hot from the 3 point line, 3 point game now.

It wasn't the start I was looking for, but things look like they're starting to click. I would love to see some true lock down defense.

I got to hand it to them, Charleston is putting down some real solid buckets.

Ken, I was at the 2001 game when we lost. That was during the 8-20 season, my junior year. Not a great year to watch our team, but tickets were much easier to get.

Bobby Cremins has to have the whitest hair of any basketball coach ever.

No, no real divided loyalty--I've been pulling for Carolina since before I can remember

What the gosh darn was that? That dude was trying to hump the back of Tyler's head. He's lucky no one got hurt, he could have got bodyslammed with that move.

Davis is sick man, that kid has TALENT. Anyone know that triavia question? Whose record did Tyler break for most consecutive 20+ games?

Was it McCants? (Who, by the way, is dating a Kardashian sister. Reggie Bush introduced them.)

Intentional foul against Hansbrough. CofC is just hacking at him now. I'm going to be furious if he gets hurt.

He shouldn't even be in at this point. The game is out of reach I would pull him to keep him from getting hurt.

College of Charleston has the second-longest streak in the nation of not allowing 100 points in a game; the Cougars haven't allowed 100 points since 1977, or 951 straight games. Princeton has the longest streak and have not allowed 100 points since North Carolina beat them 103-76 in 1968.
