Tonight the Heels open ACC conference play with a home game against BC. The game starts at 5:30 and will be televised on Fox Sports Net.

I think the most interesting storyline of tonight will be seeing what Rice does this year. Last year he put on one of the craziest shows I've ever seen. I will be quite surprised if he puts up 30 + points, much less the 40 + of last year. However, I still expect a strong showing and I bet he'll get at least 20. I'm looking forward to (1) what our defense is going to do with Rice and the rest of them and (2) how the battle of the point guards will turn out. Lawson last year was the playmaker PG while Rice was the scoring PG. This year, Ty is both the playmaker and the scorer and I am curious how teams are going to react to this dual threat now. The deciding factor, though, will be what the rest of Rice's team can do. BC is tough and I think it will be a good opener for our guys to make a statement. As much as I would love to see it, I really don't think its realistic to expect an undefeated conference schedule, much less continuing this streak of winning every game by double digits. However, I think tonight we'll keep it going.
